Float therapy has been in the mainstream media quite a bit lately. Have the pictures of blissed out people cradled by salt filled water have you imagining yourself floating in a deep restful state?
Maybe you've even had a moment envisioning yourself leaving the float room feeling light, happy and glowing from the inside. Or walking back into the world centered, crystal clear and ready to handle your stressful life with ease.
Have you been curious about floating, but too nervous to make your first appointment?
1. You're not sure what is going to happen and you want all the details before you go making an appointment.
We've got you covered. Our float hosts are passionate floaters and are able to answer any questions you may have.
2. You're afraid of getting stuck in the tank or not being in control of your environment. Our float tanks have no latches or locks. The doors are light and can easily be pushed open. Or some people like to keep the door cracked open by putting a towel between the door and the tank. Or try the open tank. It's kinda like an oversized bathtub where you can easily enter or exit by simply stepping in.
The lighting in the closed tank rooms is motion controlled so any movement in and out of the tank turns them on automatically. And in the open tank room, the light is one button push away.
3. You've got questions that you're too nervous to ask. We've got answers. There are no stupid questions when it comes to floating. Floating is new to most people who come in here. Despite the fact that it's a 60 year old therapy, until now float tanks have been few and far between.
Everyone at Float Nashville has been a new floater and remembers what it was like to get in that tank for the first time. We are happy to give tours and give thorough orientations at your first float. You don't have to start your float until all your questions are answered and you feel confident about your experience.
4. You're afraid of hippies.
We only have one. Mark is harmless. And most people find him to be the best listener of the bunch. A songwriter for 36 years, he also creates all the beautiful music that is played to both relax you into your float and wake you up at the end! You can listen to all his floaty creations online and get a preview of what is to come.
